Mardy Fish to replace Bob Bryan for US Davis Cup Semis

Mardy Fish has been called by the US Davis Cup team to replace Bob Bryan who is suffering a shoulder injury.

The US will face Spain this weekend as they try to defend their 2007 Davis Cup title.

About his injury Bob Bryan said:
"I aggravated it pretty bad at the Open and only made things worse. I knew if I wanted a chance to play the rest of this year, I had to shut it down now. I can't even hit any balls."

The US Open team won't count with James Blake either, who withdrew a week ago.
Still the team is strong as they have Andy Roddick on their field.
